What Is micro needling?
Micro Needling is an advanced skin rejuvenation treatment that uses tiny, controlled micro-channels within the skin to stimulate the body's natural healing response. This process encourages the production of collagen and elastin, helping to improve skin texture, firmness and overall appearance.
At Yawee Butey, treatments are performed using a medical-grade, FDA-approved Micro Needling Pen, ensuring precision, safety and optimal results. We use professional products from Medi MD, and the most suitable serums for your skin concerns will be discussed and selected during your consultation.
Micro Needling can help improve:
Fine lines and wrinkles
Acne scarring and other superficial scars
Uneven skin texture
Enlarged pores
Sun-damaged skin
Skin laxity
Dull or tired-looking skin
Stretch marks
who is micro needling for?
Micro Needling is suitable for most adults who wish to improve the overall quality and appearance of their skin. It can be beneficial for clients concerned with signs of ageing, scarring, pigmentation irregularities and loss of skin firmness.
A thorough consultation will be carried out prior to treatment to assess your skin, discuss your concerns and ensure that Micro Needling is the most appropriate treatment for you.

how long does it last
Many clients notice an improvement in their skin within a few weeks of treatment, with continued enhancement as collagen production increases over the following months.
Results typically last 3–6 months, depending on individual skin condition, age, lifestyle and skincare routine. For optimal results, a course of treatments may be recommended, followed by maintenance sessions as advised during your consultation.

Avoid touching the treated area unnecessarily for 24 hours.
Do not apply makeup for at least 24 hours unless advised otherwise.

Protect your skin with a high-factor SPF daily.
Avoid direct sun exposure for at least one week.
Do not use exfoliating products, retinoids or active skincare ingredients until advised.
Keep the skin hydrated and follow any aftercare recommendations provided.
Mild redness, sensitivity and slight dryness may occur following treatment and usually settle within a few days.
