What are Medical Grade Chemical Peels?
Medical Grade Chemical Peels are advanced skin rejuvenation treatments designed to improve the appearance, texture and overall health of the skin. The treatment works by applying a carefully formulated chemical solution to the skin, encouraging controlled exfoliation and stimulating cell renewal.
At Yawee Butey, we use professional Medi MD Medical Grade Chemical Peels, which are tailored to address a range of skin concerns. During your consultation, your skin will be assessed and the most appropriate peel selected to achieve your desired results safely and effectively.
Chemical peels can help improve:
Fine lines and wrinkles
Uneven skin tone and texture
Sun damage
Hyperpigmentation and age spots
Acne and acne scarring
Congested skin and enlarged pores
Dull, tired-looking skin
Mild skin laxity
who are chemical peels for?
Medical Grade Chemical Peels are suitable for most adults who wish to improve the appearance and condition of their skin. Treatments can be tailored to suit different skin types and concerns, making them an effective option for both preventative and corrective skincare.
A full consultation will be carried out before treatment to assess your skin, discuss your goals and ensure the peel selected is suitable for your individual needs.

how long does it last
Many clients notice brighter, smoother skin within a few days following treatment. Results continue to improve as skin cell turnover increases and the skin regenerates.
The longevity of results varies depending on the type of peel used, your skin condition and your home skincare routine. Results typically last 4–6 weeks, and a course of treatments may be recommended for optimal improvement in pigmentation, acne, scarring or signs of ageing.
Regular maintenance treatments can help maintain healthy, radiant skin throughout the year.
